About The Villach Vehicle Museum
The Villach Vehicle Museum is a privately owned technical museum located in the village of Zauchen near Villach. The museum was founded in 1987 and today it has a lot of classic vehicles (automobiles, Motor Cycles, scooters and mopeds) and some classic consumer electronic (radio, TV, computer etc.) of all nationalities and brands - including the Austrian brand Puch. The first vintage car museum of the 1950s lies in Villach's town centre. The museum doesn't show very old or extraordinary vehicles, but cherished memories in form of cars, motorbikes, scooters, mopeds and electric bicycles. We show the Goggomobil, the Lloyd, the Messerschmitt bubble car, NSU Prinz, Borgward Arabella, Porsche, Renault 4CV, Fiat Topolinos, Balillas, the 600 and the 850, the millecento nuovo, the DKW Junior and many more. We also have motor bikes on show, such as the Horex Regina, BMWs, Zündapp, Jawa, DKW, Puch, BSA, Norton, and we have the largest collection of scooters in Austria.More than 185 models from 1927-1977 are exhibited and every year new vehicles join the collection. *Image is not necessarily one of the museum.
