The Higham Ferrers Classic Car Show is planned to take place at Castle Fields, Kimbolton Road, Higham Ferrers, Sunday 2nd August, 2020.

About the Show

Tucked away in the East Northamptonshire countryside lies the historic market town of Higham Ferrers, whose annual show draws an impressive, supportive crowd. The Nene Valley show, held at the town’s central Castle Field offers visitors the opportunity to view classic pre-80s vehicles.

Previous shows have seen an eclectic mix of cars and owners are usually around, enjoying the sunshine, when it’s out, to answer questions or chat about their prized possessions. This is a very welcoming show, and not to be missed if you are in the area on the day of the show.

Vehicles entered into the show are judged, and past show winners have included a stunning 1961 Mercedes 190SL and 1954 Ford F-100 Stepside Truck. Pre-registration is necessary if you want to enter your vehicle.

The show is organised by Rushden Chichele Rotary International who raise money for their Rotary Charities. Rushden Chichele Rotary are always thankful for the support they get from the visitors and exhibitors at the show.

To book into the show get in touch via the Rotarie's website or facebook page. Exhibitors and stallholders are advised to book as early as possible as this is a favorite car show with locals. There are usually more than 200 vehicles at the show. Registration is £5 per vehicle.

The show starts at 11.00am and finishes at 4.00pm.

Access to Higham Ferrers is via the A6, which runs north-south and the A45 which runs alongside the River Nene, Northampton to Peterborough. Castle Field is situated on the western end of Kimbolton Road.

For those wishing to make a weekend of it, there are a few B&B options or camping at Summerfield, near Kimbolton. There are also caravanning options a little further away. For another exceptional day out, why not try Wicksteed Park, about 20 minutes north towards Kettering.  Wicksteed Park, amongst other attractions, has a narrow gauge railway - great for kids and family.
