National Bubble and Microcar Museum
About The National Bubble and Microcar Museum
We have over seventy exhibits on show at present with many more waiting to go in. We also have archives both technical and published, which you can access, memorabilia and much more for you to see. Microcars or bubblecars are a significant part of British motoring history. An alternative to full size cars, these small, fuel efficient vehicles were powered by engines of less than 700cc in size. We have over 50 microcars on display, many in thought provoking dioramas. Examples of Bond, Isetta, Reliant, Frisky and Bamby to name but a few. We also have a row of recreated shops for you to explore, memorabilia, a giftshop and a cafe - great for afternoon tea!. *Image is not necessarily one of the museum.
Open from 10am (last admissions 4pm) at weekends and on Bank Holidays from April to November inclusive, plus Fridays and Mondays in July and August.
